Being Green

It’s not easy being green. Sometimes I’m better at it than other times. For years I skipped the dryer sheets, for example, but then caved when I got sick of static cling and stinky clean clothes.

I recently discovered that a ball of real wool in the dryer will keep static cling away. You can make your own, of course, or you can buy some pre-made.

I bought these:

Sheep Soft Wool Dryer Balls, Extra Large (Set of 6)

$15 or so and back to green clothes drying. More or less.

I like them a lot. Sometimes they get stuck in the sleeve of a shirt and my boys complain that they are a pain because they end up in the laundry basket and they have to go put them back in the dryer, but that’s minor.

If I’m going to detox my body, I might as well do what I can to keep the toxins from getting back in it.
